The short version
- We collect what we need to run jobsite services: who you are, where your sites are, what you ordered, and what we billed.
- Drivers' locations are tracked only while they're clocked in, so customers can see their truck coming. Live location is cleared at clock-out.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
- This website doesn't use analytics, ad trackers, or cookies.

This policy covers Junk In Our Trunk, LLC ("we," "us"), our website at yourjunksquad.com, and the Junk In Our Trunk app for iOS and Android (together, the "Services").
What we collect
Information you or your company give us
- Account details: name, email, phone number, company, and role. Accounts are set up by our team or your company's manager; the app has no public sign-up.
- Sign-in: your email and password, or one-time sign-in codes we email you.
- Jobsites and requests: site addresses, map pins, gate and access notes, site photos, the services you request, schedules, and who requested them.
- Billing: billing contacts and addresses, invoices, statements, and records of payments (amount, method, reference number). We do not store credit card or bank account numbers in the app.
- Quote requests: what you enter in the website's quote form (services, town, address, timing, notes, name, company, phone, email).
- Messages: anything you send us by email, text, or phone.
Information created when we work
- Service records: when a dump, cleaning, or crew job is requested, scheduled, and completed, plus proof-of-service photos taken on site.
- Crew hours: the start and end times of each crew member on your job, which appear on your invoices.
- Device information: a push notification token so the app can alert you, and basic information needed to keep you signed in.
Our employees
If you work for us, the app also holds what we need to employ and pay you: contact and address details, pay information, tax and license details required for payroll and compliance, time punches, and the location of each clock-in and clock-out.
Location data
- Drivers: while a driver is clocked in, the app shares the phone's location, including in the background, so dispatch can route trucks and customers can see their truck and ETA. The driver's live location is removed when they clock out. Android shows a notification while tracking is on.
- All employees: the app records where you are when you clock in and clock out, to confirm time on the jobsite.
- Customers: we don't track customers' locations. The addresses and map pins you give us for jobsites are stored with those sites.
You can turn location permission off in your phone's settings, but driver tracking and clock-in location are required to work shifts in the app.
How we use it
- Deliver, schedule, and route our services, and show you status, ETAs, and proof of service.
- Send notifications and emails about your services, sign-in codes, invoices, and statements.
- Bill for our work, record payments, and keep accounting records.
- Answer quote requests and questions.
- Run payroll and confirm crew hours.
- Keep the Services secure, fix problems, and improve how we work.
- Meet legal, tax, and safety obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with:
- People at your company who use the app: they see your company's sites, requests, service history, photos, and invoices.
- Service providers that run parts of our business for us, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Google Cloud and Firebase: accounts, database, file storage, notifications, and reporting.
- Google Maps Platform: maps and driving directions.
- Resend: sending emails such as invoices, sign-in codes, and quote requests.
- Vercel: hosting this website. Cloudflare: delivering invoice links.
- Messaging and AI tools our office uses to read payment remittances (for example, a photo of a check stub) and match them to invoices. A person reviews the results.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
This website
This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. If you send a quote request, it is emailed to our team and is not used for anything else. Links to app stores, Google, and other sites follow those sites' policies.
How long we keep it
We keep account, jobsite, service, and billing records for as long as your company works with us and afterward as needed for accounting, tax, legal, and dispute purposes. Drivers' live location is cleared at clock-out. Quote request emails are kept as normal business correspondence. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, including encrypted connections and reputable cloud providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us right away.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, or delete: email us and we'll help. To delete an app account, contact us; some records (such as invoices) must be kept for legal and accounting reasons.
- Notifications and location: manage these in your phone's settings.
- Utah residents: under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act you can ask to know what we process, get a copy, delete data you provided, and opt out of targeted advertising or sale. We don't sell data or do targeted advertising.
We'll verify requests before acting on them and won't treat you differently for making one.
Children
The Services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
